Football season is back and better than ever down in Norman, Oklahoma and I am so excited! However, I have a confession: I like fashion more than football. Though I do love going to support the stud Sooners, the real reason I go to the game is to wear my gameday outfit. Fashion has been something I have been passionate about since the first grade. I have always loved dressing up, finding clothes, and making fun outfit combinations. I used to even have a fashion sketchbook where I would draw my crazy design ideas. For the longest time, I wanted to be a fashion designer when I grew up…maybe one day when I am rich and famous I’ll create my own fashion line.
Last week, OU “played” Western Carolina. I use quotation marks because we beat them 76-0, so I’m not sure if we actually played them or not. Either way, OU won, and so did my outfit. The game theme for the student section was red-out, so I wore a comfy bright red jumper from TJ Maxx that ties in the front. I also wore short, white boots to make the fit more “OU” and “Southern.” For accessories, I put on my OU necklace, three white bracelets, and some white hoops. To spice things up, I decided to pull my bangs back into two ponies. Lastly, I popped on some bright red lipstick to tie it all together.
This outfit was fun and comfortable all at the same time. It was hot, so it was a great choice for staying cool, but feeling cute, and confident. Cannot wait for next week’s game! BOOMER SOONER!
