This weekend was the surprise Big Little Reveal for Delta Gamma! The head of New Members for Delta Gamma, Melanie, told us that there was an executive member who was visiting us, and we had to listen to the speech she had prepared for us. They told us that it was required so we would all come, and that we had to dress nicely to impress and respect her so we would all look cute for our big surprise. We all showed up dressed cute to Dale Hall and had to get in alphabetical order. Melanie then told us that we actually had to go to the house instead. This is when we all knew. I was very surprised that it was happening because my Big, Sophie, told me that it was not going to happen for another three weeks!
We walked over to the house and there was a giant banner that read “Big Little Reveal.” I was super excited! However, I had a pretty good idea who my Big was going to be…Sophie and I clicked the moment we met and have been super close ever since. We walked into the house to find our names on littles notes on the front table. Reading my first note, I immediately knew it was Sophie and I was so happy! The note told me to look for my next note which was in the fruit bowl. That note then told me to go to the room where we practice U-Sing, which is in the library. I went to the library to find my last note, which told me to go to her room. I walked up the stairs to her room to find a giant basket with my name on it. It was filled with tons of goodies! There was a sweet letter to me telling me to put on the cute pjs and socks and to go downstairs and find the box with my name on it. I hurried and put on the cutest dino pajamas and ran downstairs to find the other girls wearing matching pjs, surrounding my box. I ran up and lifted my box to find Sophie cuddled under it! We immediately hugged and jumped up and down because we were so full of joy to officially be ‘Big and Little.’ We took tons of pictures outside together with my new fam! To wrap up the night, we celebrated at BJs and ate pazookies! It was such a sweet night and I am so thankful to have the best fam ever!!!
