Like I mentioned in my last post, it’s initiation week! Last night we had a fun tradition called Inspiration. Everyone wore a matching shirt with their Big and came to the house at 6 o’clock to have our ceremony. We got lined up in order and walked in to stand in front of our Big. At the ceremony, the leadership of Delta Gamma gave a very sweet speech about what it means to be a DG and how special it is. At the end, we were crowned with the cutest sailor hats that our Bigs made us! Mine had tons of pink and blue ribbons hanging down the back with rhinestones along the top. I loved it so much, Sophie did a great job!! We then all went to the skating rink to have some fun the night before we get initiated. I, of course, wore my rainbow roller skates I got for Christmas! I have been waiting to wear them for so long, and this was the perfect time to whip them out – and they were a huge hit. As always, we took a thousand pictures and danced by the disco ball. Roller skating is actually one of my favorite things to do, so my heart was SO happy! However, not very many people like roller skating as much as I do…sad day. But it was still so much fun and probably one of my favorite memories from DG so far! I am so excited to OFFICIALLY be a Delta Gamma! Stay tuned…
