Another major football game was this weekend: HOMECOMING! So many fun festivities were going on in honor of the special game. On Friday night, the Rah Rally took place at Lloyd Noble Center. All the sorority/frat pairs competed their performances against each other. Of course, DELTA GAMMA WON!!! Our theme was Scooby Doo, so it was just over the top cute and was the clear winner. There were also many other contests throughout the past week including a banner, sidewalk chalk, and poster competition. This afternoon was the annual homecoming parade, which I got to walk in and hand out Scooby snacks to little kids. Our float looked amazing even though I did not help with it all (I am on the University Sing team for Delta Gamma, so I did not have to). We even had certain people dress up as Scooby Doo characters which just added the cherry on top to the whole thing. After all that fun was the actual game against TCU. This was the first game that did not feel like you were in an oven, so of course I had to wear a fun outfit! I wore a cream high-low sweater with the sparkliest pants the world has ever seen along with some white boots. I don’t think I’ve ever received as many compliments as I did today for my pants. Definitely boosted my fashion confidence by a million. However, the game was so fun and energetic, especially because we won 52-31! Horned frogs down, and BOOMER SOONER!
