How A.I. effects the workplace
While researching my topic, I plan on diving into the effects it has within the workplace. I introduced my dad to ChatGPT about three years ago. One year ago, he started using AI for work. He would enter his employees’ data and have AI write up a full quarterly report for him. He is also trying to start up his own garbage business, so he asks AI questions like “Give me an in-depth plan on how to start up a garbage company.” My dad’s using AI so much made me curious as to if more people use it in the workplace. More deeply, what parts of AI have affected more than others in the workplace? Is it Work Itself? Emails? Write-ups? Writers? I plan to use ChatGPT with this essay to ask its own opinion on the subject and where it finds itself most useful. I also want to use the Wong-America Already Has An AI Underclass, along with people writing about their personal experiences. I feel as though it may be hard to find other exact examples like my dad’s, but other than that, I don’t think I will run into too much trouble.
