All The Crashing Gardens – Writer, Director, Editor (2023)

All The Crashing Gardens was an artistic release for me. I have suffered from depression for much of my life and really hoped to express some of that here. I have made many short films in my life but none were as impactful to me and my community as All The Crashing Gardens. With this film, I hoped to inspire my peers to get out there and make something. You don’t need a big budget to make your vision a reality.

ARTS SPOTLIGHT: MEGAN JENKINS (2022)

(4:39-7:12) The “Arts Spotlight” was one of my favorite things I worked on for the Edmond North Announcement Show. The Idea came to me when I saw at North a lack of appreciation for hard-working artists, so I figured I could use my platform to help give them the recognition they deserve. Later this project was submitted to Oklahoma Scholastic Media, where, on Spring Media Monday, it won first place for the category “Previously Published Feature Story.”

HALL MONITOR – Writer, Director (2021)

This was what I’d like to call my first film. Well, this technically wasn’t my first, but it was the first that I had tried so hard on. My group spent months writing it in my film and video design class at Edmond North, in my sophomore year. Despite making tons of videos after it, it is still one of my favorites. We had a really great group working on it. That was my first film working with David Webb, and his acting really sells this film. It’s just a nice goofy little story!

Demon Therapy – Writer, Director, Editor, Actor (2022)

This was a fun project. The concept behind it was if you woke up and started chatting with your sleep paralysis demon. David Webb wrote the script for this one and he did a fantastic job with it. This was my first time acting in a scripted film, and It was a nice challenge. It was all filmed in one day (-1 shot), and we had a fantastic crew working with us.

Psychosis – Writer, Director, Cinematographer (2022)

Psychosis was probably my favorite project I worked on in the 2021-2022 school year. I was trying to keep it as small as possible because the previous semester I had a project that was way too big for our capabilities (Z28 – not listed because it is awful). We limited ourselves to two locations and 2 main actors.

ROSE BLOOD (2023)

In fall of 2023, I began watching a few experimental films, and I wanted to make one of my own. I used stock footage, royalty free music and sound, and handmade assets. The concept behind it was the connection of roses and blood, and the intercuting of 3 clips frame by frame.

[Banned] Book Ban News Story (2023)

Ironically, this news story was banned by the Edmond School District. It won 1st place in the “On Deadline News Story” category at OSM Spring Media Monday.
