Do you hate planning and putting together an elaborate Halloween costume every year and then having to hide it away or get rid of it after one night? If you do, you’re like most people, but luckily, I have come up with a list of 3 different events and places you can reuse and show off your Halloween costume, so it doesn’t go to waste after one wear.

1. Job Interview
Most people have heard the phrase “dress for the job you want”, and in this case, this is exactly what you can do. Have some spare handcuffs and cop belt accessory from a previous Halloween costume and you’re going to a job interview for a law enforcement job? Are you wanting to go to space and have an astronaut costume that you want to show your dedication with? Wanting to work at a zoo and you dressed as a sexy tigress not too long ago? Perfect! Reuse those outfits by wearing them to your job interviews so they know you are seriously in love with your career.

2. Sunday Church
Everyone knows on Sunday you wear your “Sunday Best” to church services, but what a lot of people don’t know is that it doesn’t always need to be formal. Various animal Halloween costumes can be used as a symbol of the animals in the Bible! Recreate the nativity scene by encouraging your friends to wear your past Halloween costumes to your next Sunday service. And hey, who knows, maybe a Power Ranger character could be a nice switch up to spice up the preaching.

3. Weddings
We all know the rule to not wear white on the bride’s special day. However, finding the perfect wedding outfit is hard. Congrats, you’ve just found a mini hack to always look good at weddings while being environmentally responsible by reusing your Halloween costume as your wedding suit! The best part of this one is that everyone wants to match their wedding date, and luckily, there are millions of couple’s costumes out there that are begging for a new home. Don’t be afraid to spice up your “black tie formal” by coming in a two-person horse outfit! I’m sure the bride won’t mind.
Not only are these great alternatives to the stressful question of “what should I wear?”, but it also will gain you popularity and positive attention within your friends, family, and media. Remember, wear it with confidence. If Lady Gaga can wear a dress made of meat, why can’t you? The numerous possibilities of jaw dropping outfits are waiting for you!
