When I was a young girl, I was already unknowingly doing public relations work. As I played with Barbie dolls and included the action figures of my brothers to make the scene a little more interesting, I sought to have the management of each make-believe scenario perfect. Unpaid, of course, I would force my younger brother into playing with the Ken doll. But to his unknowing, I was about to tell him each and every line that Ken would say, so that the scene would unfold exactly as I envisioned. This early experience taught me the importance of communication, strategy, and meticulous planning—skills that have only deepened as I’ve pursued a career in public relations and media law.

Majoring in public relations and philosophy and on the pre-law track at The University of Oklahoma, I’ve had numerous experiences with creative writing in both recreation and a work atmosphere. I come from a very creative background and strive to express my creativity throughout my work.
Currently, I work with the University of Oklahoma’s Marketing and Communications department, where I create social media content and digital campaigns that showcase the university’s story to audiences of nearly three million. This role has sharpened my ability to adapt messaging across platforms while keeping strategy and brand voice consistent. Alongside this, I’ve completed internships at several leading creative agencies in Oklahoma City, where I gained exposure to high-level client campaigns and learned how agencies translate strategy into impactful creative work. My experience as an OKC Thunder College Ambassador also gave me hands-on practice in community engagement and brand representation, while leading digital marketing at OU Daily challenged me to build strategies that supported both business growth and creative production.
My personal interests span a wide range—you might find me curled up watching Pride and Prejudice while crocheting or catch me passionately cheering during a WWE match. I’m deeply interested in pop culture, and my PR work often reflects this, as I love staying up to date with current trends and events.
