The discussion surrounding celebrities having near-exact look-alikes has been a conversation for the last few years. In recent years, fans have begun to realize that there are many celebrities who strongly resemble another celebrity, and I am going to talk about why that is interesting today. I encourage to look at some of the pictures of the celebrity pairs I mention; and see for yourself how uncanny their identicalness is. The most notable of the look-alikes is Kiernan Shipka and McKenna Grace. Although there is an age difference of six years between the two, their facial features at stages in their life were so similar that Grace was cast to play a younger Shipka in a Netflix Original Series. Another notable pair is Sarah Hyland and Mila Kunis, who have claimed that they have been mistaken for each other on multiple occasions. The last pair I will mention by name is Katy Perry and Zoey Deschanel, who are pictured in the featured image. This one particularly sticks out to me because of the eyes, hair color, and styling (both having bangs) are insanely similar to one another. The significance of these doppelgänger pairs? This ties in with my last post, strengthening the probability of everyone having a doppelgänger they have never met. We see this idea represented in numerous celebrities, and we are able to notice because they are in the public eye. But with eight billion people in the world, the chances you have one, or even many, people who look exactly like are very high. I don’t know about you, but I’d be interested in going out and finding them.
