Introduction

Hello! My name is Bianca Discher and I am a freshman at the University Of Oklahoma studying Pre-Med Biology. My interests include band, music, singing, dancing, going to the gym, and reading. I always love to have deep conversations that really get the mind turning with friends and teachers. My own sense of generation identity includes being accustomed with the trends and current events, as well as a part of many minorities in this generation such as being part of the LGBTQ+, having Latina blood , as well as being a women. I believe that I have a good insight of what views my generation entails as well as the way that people feel about certain topics. I believe I am worldly as well as a very understanding person. I can connect with anyone in my generation as well as generations prior and in the future.

  1. Hi Bianca! Sorry for not getting to this earlier….

A well-written introduction that concludes with a bold claim! I can see how the different identity perspectives you mention give you different avenues of communication within your generation. But the claim re. past and future makes me wonder–what do you think stops most people from making cross-generational connections?
