There are sooo many movies that you can watch during the Halloween season. Although some of them may not be as good as what people say there’s without a doubt a top five list for spooky season! So, let’s dive right in.
5. Coming in at number five, we got Saw. If you’re looking for quite the scary and gory movie to watch when the kids are not around, well Saw is the movie to watch. Saw comes with a ten movie long series so we’re just going to go with the first one. With two complete strangers with no collection whatsoever having no idea how they ended up in an empty room together. They quickly realize this is just one big event of small deadly games that mean life or death put together by an insane serial killer.
4. Next up number four! let’s switch it up for number four, we’ll go with more of a family friendly movie that you simply cannot go wrong with! What would that happen to be you ask? Well, that would be “The Nightmare Before Christmas“. How could you ever go wrong with one of the most iconic Halloween characters ever in Jack Skeleton! Jack Skeleton is king of Halloween Town when out of nowhere he decides to venture out and discovers Christmas Town. Being in Christmas Town and learning of their ideas and ways of life he tries to bring it back to Halloween Town. How will the citizens of Halloween Town react to their kings’ new ideas getting brought back? Guess it’s up to you to find out!
3. Uh ohhhh! Top three timeee! Coming in at number three we haveeee *drum roll* Edward Scissorhands! This may be a bit biased, but I mean who doesn’t enjoy a good Johnny Depp film? If you don’t then don’t answer, because then it’ll be awkward, I’m just kidding. Biased aside Edward Scissorhands is truly a cinematic masterpiece and the story developing is quite interesting. Edward is an artificial man who’s hands are made of scissors who also spends most of his life away from everyone and everything until he is taken in by a family and has to adapt to this new way of living.
2. Coming in at two is Monster House! Monster House is another family movie for everyone. Although me personally it wasn’t as lighthearted or easy going as Hotel Transylvania, or The Nightmare Before Christmas it was definitely more intimidating than the other ones listed. A group of teens find out and quickly realize that there is a live, scary house that is in their neighborhood.
- Last, but not least whatsoever! It isssss going to beeeeeee Hotel Transylvania! Yes, this one is quite a debatable one, but there’s more than meets the eye. This is without a doubt for every category of watchers. The film is very comedic, family friendly, and has a good development with relationships among characters. Dracula the main character is operating a high-end resort for all the other scary creatures of the world to live at with a daughter who he has always been overprotective of.
