How do you come up with an idea that will show off a recent tv show in person? That was the question we needed to ask ourselves this week as I looked to create an activation event for the HBO hit Succession. The first step in any process is brainstorming any and all ideas. There is no bad idea when it comes to brainstorming and the more you have the more choices you get even if some honestly suck or are plain unrealistic. Although it’s these base ideas that help you build off them and make it into a real well-thought-out event. That’s what I did, I started putting any and all ideas down for whatever show popped into my head, and after writing around 10 different ideas all around different shows or movies I landed on the idea that I liked the most Succession roleplaying. Do you have what it takes to be Logan Roy make stockholders happy and fend off your own family? In my activation event, people would get the chance to find out as they get into a group and are given different roles CEO, board member, family, and lawyer. Each has there own unique rules and roles they work together to try to make the company successful when deciding what to do in 3 preset scenarios. But be careful not everyone may want whats best for the company and only what’s best for them.
