About Me:

I am an archaeologist specializing in the histories of Indigenous people in southeastern North America. My research interests include stone tool technologies, landscape practices,

social memory, mobility, exchange, and communities of practice. To understand our past, I use a variety of methods that including microscopy, portable XRF, and experimental

archaeology techniques. A significant part of my research is focused on Indigenous ways of knowing and traditional practices that is enhanced through collaboration with

communities across the southeast.
