As a freshman Global Engagement Fellow at the University of Oklahoma, I will share my experiences participating in OU’s international community right here, through a series of blog posts.
Through my membership in GEF, I plan to travel abroad twice. I aim to travel abroad short-term Summer 2023 to our sister campus in Arezzo, Italy. Gaylord College of Journalism and Mass Communications, where my Public Relations major is housed, hosts summer programs that involve working directly with local communities on marketing and PR campaigns in Italy.
Following this experience, I hope to spend my spring semester of junior year, January – May of 2023, studying in a Spanish-speaking country to achieve full fluency in the language and complete my Spanish minor.
I am a citizen, not of Athens, or Greece, but the world.
