Welcome to my page and thank you for visiting my profile.

My name is Nida Mushtaq Khan and I am working as an Instructional Designer for Partners for Rural Impact. I utilize current Information and Communication Technologies (ICTs) to build families’ capacity to be actively involved and engaged in their child’s education from cradle to career. I collaborate with both internal and external stakeholders to conduct place-based needs assessments on learners and contexts to assess learning needs and track progress. Using research-based and tested instructional design theories, practices, and methods, I develops curriculum, implement instructional programs, create content and assessment tools and utilize our Learning Management Systems to create, administer, and analyze the effectiveness of online and in-person learning materials and experiences.  My curriculum at the University of Oklahoma included studies in teaching and learning, cultural diversity, research, and integration of instructional leadership and academic curriculum, with an emphasis on STEM education, particularly technology in learning. In my role at PRI, I continue to learn by synthesizing research on best educational practices, develop trainings that enhance stakeholder’s understanding of the diverse cultural perspectives, and integrate relevant technologies that provide sustainable pathways for learners.
