At the current moment we now are living peacefully as the Government starts to make their advancements to controlling the citizens. As our freedom of speech is being put into question and we can only live in rented housing instead of owning our homes we start to file into Apartments. As years pass and they are started to be regulated by the Government we start to see more changes.

As the government starts to change laws and become more strict it is way easier to get arrested by not following the new shackles that the government is putting on the citizens. Any discussions that question the new form of Government will immediately have you arrested and you will be severely punished. Now that anyone that discusses the government in a negative light the power of the people is no longer and the United States its starting to lose its Democratic freedom.

As the country starts to change and people are now adjusting to the “new” country that has been created the New American Dream is one of isolation and fear. Not being able to talk about what you would like and a life of basically going to work and back home the drive of all the citizens fade. As the new American Dream has changed to one of being happy to be able to go to work and go home. Citizens wanting to revolt to gain back the freedom they once had seeming almost impossible because of the constant lockdown the Government keeps on everyone.

The New American Dream being one made by fear of being taken away and sentenced to jail or beaten by the police. The Dream of being able to Work and go home leaves the society to parish as citizens leave due to the lockdown of the Government.
