As Michael Scott from the office grows through the years we see him always wanting a goal. He wants the amazing wife and family for his American Dream. He wants to come home to a family that he can cherish and be there for him.
For the first few seasons of the Office we see Michael struggling with finding this American Dream because he can’t get into a good relationship. As he goes from one girl to the other some being toxic or just not being a good fit we see him starting to lose sight of his American Dream. That is until he meets Holly in the later seasons. Holly pushes him to find his American Dream with her.
At first we see them struggling to commit as they first want to start with a long distance relationship as Michael isn’t ready to leave the office. So they have a falling out. Then at a company retreat they reconnect and we figure out that Holly is coming back. Once she comes back they still have that same spark that they used to have. Michael is then willing to commit this time around.
As Michael is willing to commit this time he then proposes to her after finding a manager that can replace him. For many years we don’t hear about Michael Scott. He then shows up in the last episode. In this episode he has that big family that he wanted having two phones because of all of the pictures he has of them.
