Hello, I am Victoria English, I am a student here at OU and I’ll be completely honest with you, I am not sure I have a set blogger identity quite yet but perhaps that IS my identity. I am someone who does not have much to say over that of AI and Chat GPT, I am against it, sure, but to tell you the truth I do not know that much about the subject or even any specifics. I guess to answer the question on what I think a journalist to be, I think someone who journals should focus on reporting the facts, on the state of things, someone who can reveal hidden truths, and perhaps that’s how I should focus on AI. I, of course, will intercept my opinions as a form of commentary and let the class know my ideas and thoughts on a subject, but I will also inform others on the state of AI and what LLM we might discuss. For an example I could take the situation that Professor L posted about, my opinion on the matter is rather simple, I agree it is rather strange to have a relation with a robot over the internet, however instead of focusing on just my thoughts, I could link back to a conversation I had with a friend of mine over how the site character.ai and just how many people form fictional relationships with characters now compared to not even that long ago. This is all ideas for my first hat regarding that of ChatGPT, now onto my second hat, that of my personal identity, well as stated before I am Victoria English, a student here at OU, I am actually that of a Sophmore. I attend OU as a major of German and even wish to dual major in that of finance, I’ll be honest and tell you that I am unsure how this contributes to having a blogger identity but I am excited to try and grow and develop my identity as the semester carries on.

Excited to see where this blog goes! Starting a writing space — even a digital one — can be a great outlet for reflection and creativity. Personally, I’ve found that setting up a comfortable study area really helps with writing flow. I used Vinilo Oracal to decorate my workspace with quotes and visuals that keep me inspired. Small details, but they make a difference!
Great to see the beginning of what could grow into something really special. Starting a blog is a bold first step, and I hope you continue to explore your voice and ideas here.
